TECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEER
(NORTH EAST & CUMBRIA, EAST & WEST YORKSHIRE)


A plumbing background ideally trained to NVQ craft and advanced. Applicants need to be articulate/ numerate and have an ability to achieve management objectives. Experience and knowledge of Underfloor Heating would be an advantage, however FULL training will be given to the ideal candidate. A full drivers licence is essential.

CRAFT APPRENTICESHIPS 
(3 Years)
(Must have GCSE’s grades A to C in Maths & English)


If you are interested in undertaking an engineering apprenticeship and want to become a skilled toolmaker, then why not apply to John Guest. You will be registered for the first 29 weeks of employment to take study for your NVQ at a local college of Further Education such as Kingston College. Thereafter, you will return to the Company site at West Drayton to complete your in-house training.
On successful completion you will have the opportunity to become a skilled toolmaker within John Guest Engineering. You will receive training and guidance in producing your portfolio of evidence along with experience within the workplace.

PACKER
Reform Road, Maidenhead
Night Shift 18.45hrs – 07.00hrs – 28 day continental rota working an average of 41.125 hours per week.


We are looking for people to work in our busy Extrusion Department, packing straight lengths and coiled pipes.
Candidates are required to have to have good verbal and written communication skills and must be physically fit as lifting is involved.
Excellent working conditions, competitive salary, pension and 31 days holiday.

GENERAL PRODUCTION HAND
Reform Road, Maidenhead
Night shift: 18.45hrs to 07.00hrs – 28 day
continental rota working an average of 41.125 hours per week.
To join us, you must have initiative, a positive attitude and good verbal and written communication skills. You should also be committed to working nights – experience of night shifts (ideally a continental 24-7 shift pattern) would be ideal. Used to working in a stock control or a warehouse environment, you will have a forklift licence (counterbalance) and a good level of physical fitness, as some lifting is involved. We offer excellent working conditions, competitive salary, pension and 31 days’ holiday.
